The importance of wrinkle rating has been known for many years. This, as well as FDA regulations, require the teardown of cans in order to manually inspect the wrinkle rating of those cans. Beverage cans can appear to be closed hermetically, but when wrinkle rating is outside the specifications, the can can leak and will no longer be airtight.
New Can Stripper from Quality By Vision is a low cost solution to quickly strip a can for Wrinkle / Tightness rating measurement.
The tool cuts and splits the cover hook from the beverage cans in seconds, enabling quick and easy Wrinkle/Tightness rating.
The system was designed to accept two can heights.
Special blade holder with 3 blades can be used for 202 or 206 can. Blade and bearing replacement is quick and easy.
